Our client is looking for an HR Officer to join their team.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Assisting Line Managers with day-to-day IR processes, including coordinating and managing Disciplinary enquiries and processes

Full recruitment function, including job description and advert creation

All payroll and general HR Admin, for terminations, new hires and Pension or Provident fund benefits

Supporting Line Managers with employee support, referral, and wellness programmes

Coordinating and managing the YES Learners and learnerships for the region

Completing weekly and monthly HR reports

Arranging and managing annual long service awards and other celebration days

Coordinating all CSI and charity initiatives

Arranging all HR related staff events and initiatives

Managing the receptionist and reception area, including leave cover


REQUIREMENTS:

An HR or related Degree or National diploma essential

Excellent Excel and Word skills (intermediate to advanced level)

2 – 5 years Recruitment consultant experience essential

Recruitment for FMCG and/or Manufacturing will be an advantage in this role

Must have own transport, and flexibility if required to work late, or travel to other plants offsite

High level of patience and tolerance

Excellent English communication skills

Must be highly organized and enjoy multi-tasking

Resilient and able to assert themselves when needed

Passion for people and comfortable having difficult conversations
