Coordinate regular Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), reviewing processes, risks and efficiency of controls in place. Design, monitor and report key risk indicators (KRIs)
Coordinate implementation of control plans implementation within the teams and review control test results performed
Regularly update the control library plan according to the outcome of the risk assessment, regulations, other risk events and incidents.
Ongoing monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure adherence with BNP Paribas PF and Group criteria’s and maintain local procedure repository;
Identify, analyze and report operational risk incidents in a timely manner.
Monitor and organise the follow-up on recommendations issued by Inspector Generale and ensure it is closed within due dates.
Act as an Advisor to the business with support in planning and implementing any new initiatives or efforts
Introduce Operations Risk and Permanent Control topics to new colleagues and maintain OPC awareness training programme;
Maintain and contribute to an efficient third party control framework, where applicable;
Participation in projects and special assignments when necessary
Participate and coordinate Committees dedicated to Operational Risks; Contribute to reporting to the local management and BNP Paribas PF
EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
University degree or equivalent diploma in Commerce, Internal Audit or Risk Management
Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience of at least 3 to 5 years within the financial services sector in risk management, internal audit, compliance role
Good knowledge of the legislation and regulatory landscape of financial services, its activities and products
