The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing and processing monthly and bi‑weekly payrolls. This includes maintaining and updating employee records, verifying clocking and attendance data, calculating salaries and wages, and ensuring all employees are paid correctly, in full, and on time. The role also ensures compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Processing and Admin:
Ensuring all payroll processing on SAGE50 (UK) and Morepay (UK) is completed accurately and timeously
Completing all month‑end payroll procedures in full and on time
Preparing and submitting:
UK: HMRC Real Time Information (RTI) submissions, including Full Payment Submission (FPS) and Employer Payment Summary (EPS), accurately and on time
Importing payroll batches correctly and without delays
UK: P45, P60, P11D/P11D(b) in line with statutory requirements
Executing salary adjustments accurately and in accordance with approved instructions
Maintaining and updating employee pension records
Time and Attendance: UK: Bizimply
Payroll Queries:
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and resolving all payroll queries professionally, accurately, and within set timeframes
Following up with relevant parties promptly to obtain all information needed to complete payroll deliverables
Reporting and Reconciliations:
Submitting all required payroll reports to relevant departments/ individuals accurately and on schedule
Monthly reconciliations: Pension and Statutory payments
Adhoc:
Maintaining payroll filing and scanning accurately
Performing ad hoc payroll duties as required, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard and within expected timelines
REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant Accounting, Payroll, or Human Resources Diploma (or an equivalent qualification)
3–5 years’ experience in a similar payroll‑focused role (UK)
Experience working with payroll systems (preferably SAGE50 and Morepay)
Solid understanding of statutory requirements, including PAYE, UIF, SDL, and relevant labour legislation
Proven experience working with large volumes of payroll data
Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Experience in handling confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism
